3 1/2

Today is Keira's half birthday. It's hard to believe in just six months we'll have a four year old. Four seems so old.

I thought I'd give you a glimpse into our 3 1/2 year old's life by interviewing her (yet another idea borrowed from the Clark family's blog).

How old are you? 3.
I reminded her that she is now 3 1/2 and she can answer as such when asked how old she is.

Favorite color? Green
She has been consistent with this answer for at least a year now.

Favorite number? 10
I didn't know she had a favorite number until she mentioned it earlier in the evening. I asked her in this interview to see if she'd say the same thing, she did. And I think 10 might be her favorite because whenever she asks to do something I don't want her to do I tell her she can do it "when you're 10 years old".

Favorite TV show? Oso (as in Special Agent Oso)
This was not the answer I thought I'd get. I was pretty sure she'd say Dino Dan. She only watches Oso in the early morning if I need her to be occupied while I shower.

Favorite movie? Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty is her favorite princess but I thought she'd say Tinkerbell or Toy Story for her favorite movie.

Best friend at school? Kylie
I would have been shocked if she answered anything else. These two have been buds since day one.

Favorite Christmas present? Slinky Dog
Of course the toy that was less than $20 and a last minute purchase is the favorite. Not the ones she was asking Santa for over a month before Christmas.

Favorite season? Winter
I am pretty sure this is just because it is currently Winter.

Favorite day of the week? Tuesday
She picked this one because she threw on some socks after school that have days of the week on them and when I asked her this question she pointed to the sock and said "this day".

Favorite animal? Horse, reindeer, and zebra
Yup, three favorites. When I asked her this question she thought for a few minutes then said "I'll tell you three favorite". She really does love animals so needing three favorites only seems right.

Favorite shape? Rectangle.
Random. Hahahahahaha!

Favorite snack? Pretzels
She was eating pretzels at the time of this interview so I think that swayed her vote.

Favorite song? Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer
It's only appropriate that her favorite song is about one of her favorite animals. 'Tis the season I guess.
