N-Y-C is F-U-N!

Today I had a lot of "firsts". First train ride, first trip to Manhattan, and first trip to Central Park.

My day started with a train ride to Hoboken. The conductor was super nice when he learned it was my first ride. I really enjoyed the trip.

When we finally got into the city we headed downtown to pick up Aunt Laurie from work. I got to go to her office & visit her co-workers. They were all really nice. And I pretty much took over the joint.


"Get my author on the New York Times Bestseller list!!"

Then is was back on the train to head to Times Square to meet Uncle Schneckie for lunch at Schnipper's. The subways are very loud. I have to say, that was the one part I did not like.

After lunch it was onto the subway again to head uptown to Central Park. While we were there we visited the zoo, went on the merry-go-round, played on the playground, and hung out on the grass a bit. It was super hot but I loved every minute of it all!

It was feeding time at the zoo.


I loved the Children's Zoo because it had fun things to do...

I love a good merry-go-round...


And a good playground!

Before I knew it, it was time to head home. It was such an exciting day! I was so beat from all the fun that I took a little snooze on the train ride home.
