Adventures in babysitting

Last weekend was super fun! Mommy and Daddy went on a date to a concert, so my super cool Aunt Laurie (Maur Maur) and Uncle Adam (Necknie) came to babysit. Mommy and Daddy left them a list of instructions, but what do they know? I run things around here! (Just kidding Mom and Dad!)

The first thing I did was steal Necknie's hat. I think it looks better on me, don't you?

Then I danced to my favorite show "Yo Gabba Gabba"

Necknie tried to sneak a few Zzzz's in, but doesn't he know there's no sleeping on the job??

I think Maur Maur was jealous that I gave my heart necklace to Necknie, because she tried to wear it with me! Silly Maur Maur!



Mommy left strict instructions about dinnertime, but I did so well eating all my waffles that of course Maur Maur spoiled me with a pudding cup. How do you say no to this face??

While Maur Maur cleaned up, I made Necknie read me a story. He was being so silly, making up named for characters!



I wanted to play with all my cool toys in my playroom, so I took Necknie and Maur Maur downstairs, where I played with Eleanor and my new doll that Mommy and Daddy got me for my great report card. Necknie and Maur Maur named him Carlos. I think that is hilarious!

When it was time for a baba I snuggled up with Necknie to watch Dora.

But sometimes, snuggling with one babysitter just isn't enough. Even though I'm almost two, Maur Maur likes to pretend I'm still her little baby niece. She sure does spoil me and I love it!



I had so much fun and was such a good girl, I even let Maur Maur put drops in my eyes after my bath! Then she read me FIVE books like she does everytime she stays over, and I slept like a baby (or a two-year-old).

I missed Mommy and Daddy, but I was a really good kid while they were gone. I think it's safe to say they can go on dates whenever they want! Thank you Necknie and Maur Maur for coming to hang with me...I can't wait to do it again! (hint hint Mom and Dad)
