"A" is for Apple, So Juicy & Sweet...

I had so much fun peach picking* last month that I couldn't wait for apple picking. And this time, I brought Gramps, Juh-Juh, Aunt Colleen, Uncle Jeremy, Riley, Aunt Laurie & Uncle Adam with me. (Mommy & Daddy were there too of course) I guess a lot of other families like picking fruit off of trees too because the line was really long.

Because of the long line in the hot sun Aunt Colleen & Uncle Jeremy decided to skip the actual picking. They hung out in the shade with Riley. But I picked some apples especially for them (you'll see that later). So the rest of us waited...and waited for the hayride.

Once we were on the hayride I needed to feel the breeze in my hair after being out in the heat for an hour, so Gramps helped me out.

Finally! On to the picking! Grandpa taught me what to do & I went right to work. I knew I had to get extra apples for my favorite Godparents.

I really worked up an appetite out there!

I had such a great time with all of my favorite people. Mommy & Daddy tell me that pumpkin picking is next. I wonder what other foods you can pick off of trees & vines???

*Mommy didn't blog about picking peaches. Sorry, she is a slacker.

We are so happy you invited us. Too bad the weather wasn't more fall like. Maybe next year when Riley is one we can do it all over again. This time Keira will be the expert and can teach Riley what to do!!
