Finally, another update.

So clearly I have been slacking on this here blog. Not that it matters since I have given no one the web address. But I will be sending it out right after this post so please scroll down a bit & read the first post.

Christmas has come & gone. In just two days 2007 will be upon us. The year of Baby Decker.

Speaking of the baby, on December 13th we went for a nuchal translucency screening. Besides being an important test, we got to see our little one again. And this time s/he looked like a real baby! No more blob!

The test results came back with flying colors. Our baby is already an over achiever like it's Aunt Laurie.

About a week after that appointment we went to my regular OB for a routine check up & she was also impressed with our test results. We heard the baby's heartbeat for only a few seconds because the little bugger likes to swim around a lot.

No real news other than that. This pregnancy has been a breeze for the most part. No real morning sickness to speak of or weird food cravings or aversions. I just like to eat a lot more often than usual. Ha! I am exhausted most of the time. Darrell has been wonderful in regards to that. As if he didn't do mostly everything already, he does more now. He's the best!

My next routine appointment is on January 16th -- my 30th birthday! And then on Valentine's Day we find out if we playing for Team Pink or Team Blue. Patrick Michael & Darrell's grandma already have said boy. I feel girl but I would be so thrilled either way. Darrell said he'd be happy either way as well.

So what's your vote??

Happy New Year everyone! Love you!

Jeremy and I want to vote...
I say it's a girl and Jeremy (who says he's always right about these things) says it's a boy. I think he just says boy to be the opposite of me :)!! But honestly...as long as s/he is happy and healthy that's all that really matters!!

Awww "Baba" is so cute! Schneckie and I both think it's gonna be a girl but of course, we'll love it just as much if it's a boy!!

Lots of love!!
